Lemon Eucalyptus oil has a rosy-citronella aroma with subtle lemon undertones. It's an ideal essential oil for adding to patio sprays, candles, lamp oils, lotions and body mists to help you enjoy the outdoors. This pure essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the mature trees. Dilute properly. To help deter certain biting insects, make a body spray by adding 8 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil, 8 drops lavender essential oil, 4 drops grapefruit essential oil, 4 drops geranium essential oil, 1 teaspoon plain or herb-infused vinegar, 24 oz cooled freshly brewed green tea, and 2 oz aloe gel or extract into a spray-mister bottle. CAUTION: This powerful essential oil can be a skin irritant and should not be applied directly to the skin.
