Anti-Aging Cookies? They're a Thing

Every office has its unique "perks." Many of the perks in our workspace comes from the products we sell and the creativity of those who work here. Lucky for us, our founder and CEO, Alicja, has taken her creativity to the kitchen! Her latest creations were two batches of cookies (yep, I had to test them out Monday morning.... it was rough!), aptly named the "anti-aging" and the "simply satiating." Below are recipes for each of the varieties. The best part is not only are both cookies satiating enough to hold you over between meals, but they don't leave you with that post-desert guilt. Below are the latest in-house recipes packed with superfoods, antioxidants, fibre, protein and vitamins. 


Alicja's Anti-Aging Cookie



  1. 1/4 Cup Ground Almond Flour
  2. 1/4 Cup ChocoSol Raw Cacao Nibs
  3. 1/2 Cup Real Health Super Foods Breakfast Topper
  4. 1/4 Cup Organic Traditions Coconut Palm Sugar
  5. 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  6. 2 Eggs 
  7. 5 Tbs Alpha DME Coconut Oil (Melted)
  8. 1/4 Tsp Salt
  9. 1/2 Vanilla extract


Gluten-free and packed with Cacao Nibs, and coconut oil make these the anti-aging delight that we've all come to love. Cacao Nibs are packed with fibre, iron, and antioxidants, each of which are essential to keeping our bodies functioning their best and in turn, leave us feeling our best. Antioxidants protect from free radicals which cause damage to our bodies (an anti-aging essential!).


Raw Cacao Nibs contain much higher levels of each of these nutrients than regular dark chocolate. Coconut Oil is a super food (or oil in this case) in itself. Its unique combination of fatty acids has a profound effect on our health. The fatty acids in coconut oil are unlike the fats you find in other foods and are metabolized in a different way, which can improve brain function, boost energy, protect against harmful pathogens, and assist in decreasing heart disease. These cookies may not be your typical form of "anti-aging" product, but they'll certainly help you anti-age from the inside out! 



  1. In large mixing bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
  2.  In separate bowl, beat eggs until uniform and doubled in volume. Whisk in coconut oil and vanilla.
  3. Mix bowl 1 and 2 together. 
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. 


Simply Satiating Cookie:

  1. Cup Natur Almond Butter
  2. 1/4 Organic Traditions Coconut Palm Suger
  3. 1/2 Cup Real Health Super Foods Breakfast Topper
  4. 1 Egg
  5. 1 tsp Vanilla
  6. 1 tsp Baking Soda
  7. 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt 
  8. 1/2 Cup ChocoSol Raw Cacao Nibs
  9. Extra Sea Salt to sprinkle on top



  1. Mix Almond Butter and sugar together and mix until smooth. Add egg and vanilla - mix.
  2. Add baking soda, salt, and Cacao nibs.
  3. Shape into balls and use 1 tbs of dough for each cookie, and flatten.
  4. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. 


The key to a truly satiating snack is finding something that' s the perfect mix of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Almond Butter is an all-star in this recipe as its an ideal source of protein. Taking longer to digest than other proteins makes it a steady source of energy and allows you to feel full longer. The fats in almond oil are low in saturated fats, but high in un-saturdated (otherwise known as healthy fats) along with phytosterols which held reduce cholesterol in the blood stream. Combine this with the previously discused raw Cacao Nibs and Real Health Super Foods Breakfast Topper, and you've got yourself a nutrient-dense cookie that will keep you energized and satisfied from one meal to the next.
