  • Supports team in the forecasting process by developing in-season forecasts, and managing in season corrective actions as required. 

  • Work on making sure product images and descriptions are up to date on the current website to maximize customer interest 

  • Understand market trends to create custom landing pages for marketing themes with accurate products 

  • Monitor and manage key brands in season to maximize sales margin. 

  • Support promo planning as required. 

  • Develop and provide a suitable business analysis to influence future purchases. 

  • Understand marketing analytics as well as SEO to assist the Marketing department 

  • Provide adhoc business reports and analysis on product/brand performance as required 


  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position with expertise in merchandise planning and eCommerce. 

  • A comprehensive understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of the health, wellness, baby and beauty market is considered an asset. 

  • Extensive business knowledge of retail and merchandising concepts. 

  • Ideal candidate has experience with Magento platform

Digital Marketing Specialist

Vitarock is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team at our head office in downtown Toronto.

The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the digital marketing mix including PPC and SEO, and their interplay with content marketing, email, social media (including paid), inbound marketing and e-commerce. You will be responsible for weekly delivery of marketing tasks and will play an important role in driving measurable impact on business goals.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Google PPC campaigns that support the overall objectives

  • Manage on and off page SEO, reporting regularly on progress, growth, and opportunities

  • Seek out and propose newer, better tools for digital marketing analytics and campaign management

  • Translate SEO analytics tools into actionable plans, and then implement and track progress and success

  • Monitor competitors

  • Use customer data and online behavior tracking to help construct client growth strategies

  • Devise digital campaigns that drive leads and online purchases

  • Optimize blog content and websites

  • Create effective, optimized landing pages

  • Maximize YouTube channel and video views, and contribute to social media and email marketing efforts as part of the marketing team

  • Propose articles and keyword driven content


Skills & Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in experience or post-secondary training

  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience

  • Professional level understanding of Google Analytics and the enhanced e-commerce extension

  • Experience with marketing and sales automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

  • WordPress and Magento proficiency, including SEO-related plug-ins and extensions (Yoast, Business Intelligence for Magento, etc.)

  • Understanding of how to grow metrics/KPI’s in a traditional and creative marketing method

  • Knowledge of A/B and multivariate testing strategies for enhanced campaigns

  • Understanding of data analysis and how to analyze users’ feedback

  • Understanding of how to work with the AARRR sales metric model, strategically moving customers through the marketing funnel

  • Paid social media advertising for Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn experience are assets

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platform content distribution fundamentals

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Familiar with Health & Wellness industry and/or healthy living lifestyle is an asset

  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team in an entrepreneurial environment
