The movie portion consists of a 20-minute documentary, STAND, about the incredible wilderness of the B.C. Coast and the locals whose way of life is threatened by a proposed pipeline terminus. The film features a 350 kilometre standup paddleboard (SUP) expedition showcasing the narrow inlets and stunning coastlines of the Great Bear Rainforest and the mystical Pacific Coast archipelago of Haida Gwaii. The film shows exactly what’s in jeopardy should a supertanker carrying Enbridge’s proposed Northern Gateway Pipeline bitumen run aground. Watch the trailer at http://www.standfilm.com
